“Chique” Recipe: Scrumptious Pecan Pie

As you may know from previous posts, I love pecans.  I found this recipe years ago as I was flipping through InStyle magazine.  I am a sucker for cooking with cream.  Any recipe that calls for heavy whipping cream is a “must cook” for me!  I substituted Rum for Sherry as I did not have any Sherry in my liquor cabinet.  Beware it does need to sit and cool.  I made it the day before to ensure I was serving pecan soup because last time I baked it as a hostess gift and it was still really runny.  But if you love nuts as much as I do put this on your next dinner party dessert menu!
