“Chique” Dream Gala

Pondering how life imitates art as we are headed out to the 49th Annual Ancona School “Dream Gala” tonight. This year’s theme for the “Every Child a Star” event is inspired by Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”. So as the winds blow, sending a chill over Chicago; I had to take a few minutes to post these amazing photos. They were taken last June at the lakefront when that magnificent storm stirred the most tumultuous, dramatic sky. The scene that it painted was almost more breathtaking than a Van Gogh work of art. So cheers to a “Chique” night in celebration of our school, our community, our friends and most importantly, our children.
