“Chique” Find: The perfect white blouse
I don’t know about you, but I am always dreaming of a new crisp white blouse, especially as the summer weather nears. I love the feel of a classic button down, but on my body shape it doesn’t do much for me. I adore the casual “chique” look of a peasant blouse, but I still need a little more structure. So the quest begins.
Thank goodness for Pinterest, right? I remember the days when my dresser drawer would be filled with magazine clippings waiting to be collaged. Not any more. Virtual inspiration boards are all the rage. Addictive, easy and filled with instant gratification. Here are a few pins that have inspired my search for the perfect white blouse. Then I saw it. The one I had to have. It was on Red Poppy Vintage’s Instagram page. I needed it, immediately. Literally, I dropped everything the next day and ran to H&M. I scoured the store and couldn’t find it. Just when I was about to give up, one of the associates found the last one on the mannequin. The quest was over. It’s mine now. My Mother’s Day gift to myself.
I love it because the fabric is sheer, the shape is spectacular and the style is ideal for my body shape. It gives me volume where I need it! The perfect “Chique” white blouse. This is how I styled it. How would you wear it? Don’t be surprised if you see me sporting it all summer!
