“Chique” Sequins

Today was the day I decided to shed the shorts. We woke up to 55 degrees and storm clouds so, after months of living in my assorted Levi cut-offs, I figured that the dreaded day had come.

Mind you, there is a way to transition denim cut offs into Fall, with long sleeve sweatshirts and flannel, but I opted to go head first into the long pants.  To brighten up this dreary Friday, I added a little sparkle to my outfit.

I thrifted this fabulous vintage sequin jacket on the island. A total score. While on vacation, I wore it to dinner paired with a tank top and guess…a pair of denim shorts and sandals. Today, I went a little rock-n-roll “Chique” with my vintage stones tee, black H&M zippered skinny jeans and my trusty converse.

And by the time I snapped this shots, the sun was shining! Those Levi’s may not be gone forever, afterall. Happy Friday friends. Have a “Chique” weekend.
