“Chique” Street Art

This weekend Parker had a two day Water Polo Tournament in Pilsen, so we spent a lot of time walking around the neighborhood in between games. I am always inspired by the elaborate street art in Pilsen. Some with major political significance dating back to the 1970’s and other’s freshly painted. In fact, yesterday there were a group of artists putting the final touches on their mural. I am now regretting that I didn’t stop to snap a photo, but we were running to catch the end of a game. If you haven’t visited the Pilsen area, it is definitely worth a trip; not only is the street art something to see, but the authentic Mexican restaurants & bakeries are some of the best in the city. Here are a few of my favorites to entice you, simple but “Chique”.
