“Chique” Tip: Pedi Socks
I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time maintaining my pedicure come summer. With all the sun, sea & sand, my feet take a major beating. I don’t have the luxury of sitting down for a professional mani & pedi every week, so I try to keep my heels sloughed and my toes shiny on my own. Sometimes, those two things don’t go hand in hand.
For instance, after a day at the beach, I want to scrub my feet, moisturize my heels & throw on a quick coat of clear to keep my pedicure in tip top shape. But, I struggled with how to effectively treat my heels and paint my toes simultaneously, until I came up with this brilliant idea. I cut the toes off an old pair of tennis socks. When is the last time I actually played tennis, anyway?
Voila, my handy DIY pedi socks. Now, I can coat my heels with peppermint foot lotion, put on my socks and then paint my toes. My feet luxuriously soak up the effects of the oils and my toes can dry without disruption! Not so very “Chique” looking, but very practical, right?
P.S. Loving my new Essie “Master Plan” polish. What is your favorite color this summer?
