“Chique” Tip: Feathers & Fur

As day three of NYFW comes to a close I am weighing in on my favorite looks to date. It is amazing to me how connected we have become, as I sit in the comfort of my own bed, I can virtually visit the runways. Whether it is via the blogs, a Facebook post or a Twitter feed I am essentially able to see the shows first hand without the paparazzi, the blisters and the sleepless nights. I am thankful for all the hardworking, energetic and dedicated Fashionistas out there feeding us front row footage.

Now, for my favorites, so far. I have always gravitated toward feathers and fur so I am thrilled to see those trends on the runway for Fall 2012. I loved Peter Som’s feather cuffed cigarette pants, a must have for me! Som’s shocking pink and brown fur coat was a knock out. The fur and leather mini dresses from Thakoon were feminine but edgy paired with the lace up boots. Jason Wu rocked the warrior glam look perfectly. All so uber “Chique”!
