“Chique” trend: Vintage Kimonos

Lately, I am obsessed with everything Australian. The Aussie’s take “Boho Chique” to a whole new level. I have been coveting all the print kimono’s and fringe capes that I see on line at Spell & the Gypsy Collective as well as at Arnhem Clothing.

Between Instagram and Pinterest, it is easy to create a mood board. Here are a few of my favorite pins that inspired today’s outfit.

Since I am on a budget, I can’t treat myself to any of the ones above, so instead, I put positive vibes out into the universe. And guess what I came across today while thrifting? This amazing vintage hand sewn kimono for only $3. Oh, how I love half price Monday’s at Unique. Not exactly a designer piece, but native and authentic enough to get me by this summer.

The perfect piece to pair with my vintage levi cutoff’s or as a bikini cover-up at the beach. I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot of this “Chique” kimono this summer! What do you think? How would you wear it?
