“Chique” Tip: Cherish Autumn

Growing up in Michigan, fall was the best season of all.  The leaves would turn brilliant shades of orange, red and plum; we would visit our local Cider Mill for apples, doughnuts and cider, then take long walks in the streets to hear the crunch of the fallen leaves under our feet.  Unfortunately, as the years pass, summer seems to lead right into winter, especially in Chicago.  But not this October, all of us city kids are trying to relive our childhood memories as we bask in the gorgeous sunny, crisp autumn days of the last week.  Today we celebrated the warm weather in the heart of Hyde Park @ the Madison Park annual festival.  What a magnificent day filled with pony rides, tree climbing, pumpkins, popcorn and more.  For us grown-ups, the real party was at the beer tasting table.  Now if only this trend could continue into November, I know wishful thinking!
