Our “Chique” Christmas

It has been a while since my last post my friends. Life in the fast lane has slowed down a bit. We are losing track of what day it is around here as we are still reveling in the holiday cheer. We decorated our Christmas tree late this year, so the shimmering lights and the smell of pine are still novel at our house. Now, with recent snowfall the city feels even more festive.

We kicked off Christmas Eve with great friends, amazing food and a little Champagne. Doesn’t get much better than that, right? In fact, all the gifts were wrapped and under the tree, so we actually got a good night’s sleep before the boys awoke at 6:00 am to see what Santa had delivered!

Christmas day was filled with a homemade feast, friends and lots of festive goodness. Very grateful to have this time off to just relax and enjoy our quality time together.
