Our “Chique” Island Escape

For those of you loyal readers who are wondering where I have disappeared to, I wanted to post a quick update.  We have escaped to our favorite remote island off the coast of Florida and won’t be back until after the Labor Day holiday.

We have been dreaming of this family vacation since our last trip to paradise nearly one year ago.  Taking a few weeks to decompress, relax, unplug and go off the grid is a much needed change from our usual routine. No TV, limited internet access and tons of good old fashion fun in the sun, sand & surf.

I will post periodically, so you know we haven’t been taken by pirates, but for the next 3 weeks we will be basking in the sun.  Enjoy the rest of your summer celebrations. It doesn’t get much better than this! Cheers to our “Chique” island escape.
