“Chique Tip: Creative Bouquet
One of the traditions in the Montessori classroom is to make the space a peaceful place. In PJ’s class the children arrange flowers to put on the work tables. Each week a different family contributes by bringing in flowers or plants. When it was our turn, we decided to bring a bouquet of Michigan wildflowers since we had just visited. PJ loved hunting around Gramma’s house for pretty weeds! We carefully placed them in a recycled milk carton filled with water for the car ride. They looked so nice we just presented them to the teacher in the plastic gallon. A great way to show kids how to decorate a beautiful space with natural organic, recyclable materials!
