“Chique” Family Tip: Winter Sports

I remember as a kid skating on Quarton Lake in my hometown which is a whole other story but ice skating in the winter is a Midwestern tradition.  Both boys have only done it a few times but they are getting the hang of it.  I love the Hyde Park rink on the Midway because it is small and not over crowded plus post skating you can take a walk to my favorite Hyde Park cafe Z&H on 57th Street for a delicious treat! Remember, active kids are healthy kids who turn out to be smart adults!
